Program Overview
This hands-on training prepares the student for a career in the Welding Industry by teaching the skills of welding, layout, cutting, and fitting of steel. These skills include welding with several different types of processes including SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), and FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welding). Students will also learn about blueprint reading, safety, and metallurgy.
